We've extended the contest deadline to Sept 24th, 2007. The idea is to give students, dealing with the first few weeks back in school, more of a chance to get inspired by their everyday experiences and submit an entry.

If you've already sent in an essay then this doesn't change much for you. If you haven't yet, then get started writing right away! Sure, you have a few more weeks now, but time is still short...
